A place for all seasons - nestled on 62 forested acres, The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch is a quiet retreat designed to meditate, avoid crowds, relax, swim, wander trails, or simply enjoy nature. A star gazer’s paradise and bird haven — just 22 miles from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance! The farmhouse, built in the late 1800s and with its 1903 two-story addition, once headquartered the Yosemite Power Company. Cottages were first added in the 1940s and 50s and were modernized in 1996. A motor court was built in the 1950s, now called the uptown cottages.
Guests will find that all rooms have air conditioning, heating, private bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi. Our Deluxe Cottages have a covered deck, fireplace and whirlpool tub - with easy access to our outdoor pool. Sugar Pine Ranch is a no smoking facility and no pets allowed. Please review our policies before making reservations.
The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch prides itself on sustainability and tries to maintain green eco-friendly practices where possible. We use Honest Company bio-degradeable cleaning products, minimize artificial light pollution, and work hard to preserve the natural habitat we call home.

Sorry, the Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch does not allow early check-ins formally, however, please feel free to email us for any special requests and we may be able to make an exception depending on demand.
Late check out may or may not be available due to demand. Please contact the innkeeper to see if there is any possibility to make special requests. There may be additional charges for a late check-out arrangement.
The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch has a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy whereby it is required to cancel or modify at least 1 day prior to your arrival date by 4:00 PM. If you fail to cancel outside of this window of 1 day and try to make any changes or cancel within 1 day prior to the arrival date, you will be charged a Cancellation Fee of 1 full night plus taxes and fees.
The above Cancellation Policy does not apply if you have made a reservation with an Advance Purchase Discount or a Non-Refundable Discount. You will NOT be able to cancel or modify this pre-paid non-refundable reservation type. Your total reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking and become prepaid and non-refundable. Credit cards are pre-authorized prior to arrival. The hotel is not responsible for guaranteeing the reservation if an invalid or expired credit card is provided. The name on the credit card used to check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guestroom reservation. Government-issued photo identification and a credit card are required in order to check-in.
Yosemite National Park Reservations will be required on select days beginning April 13 and ending October 27, during peak hours from 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM to enter Yosemite National Park From April 13 - June 30 reservations are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (May 27, June 19) From July 1 - August 16, reservations are required EVERY DAY - seven (7) days a week From August 17 - October 27, reservations are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (September 2 and October 14)

The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch is a private accommodation that offers an accessible guest room which provides amenities for individuals with audio-visual impairment and mobility assistive features such as grab bars in the private bathroom and van accessible parking with direct access to the guest room. Due to the historic nature of the property and wooded surroundings, some areas of the property are unable to permit wheelchair and mobility accessibility to be readily achievable without destroying the historically preserved nature of our private accommodations. We care about accessibility and work hard to ensure that all guests irrespective of disability can be hosted comfortably at The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch. Please contact the us if you have any special requests or questions about our property's accessibility features. We do provide the accessibility features for individuals who face audio or visual impairment including braille signage and ADA A/V kits for our guest rooms. This hotel only requires 1 accessible room stipulated by the ADA thus does not have the capacity to have an accessible room with 2 beds nor is it required due to the size of the hotel. In addition, trying to convert the 1 bed accessible room into a 2 bed accessible room is not easily achievable due to physical constraints.
Our five stand-alone cottages offer guests the most privacy. Each has a private deck overlooking the Golden Rock Water Ditch that once transported water to local towns and mines. The first three cottages are deluxe, with whirlpool tub and shower. Cottage #5 is for families or couples sharing one cottage, with two rooms, and one bath. All cottages have access by rock-lined trails to our pool retreat area located in scenic surroundings above the lodge. Parking is conveniently located in front of each cottage.
The Inn only offers self check-in. Instructions for check-in will be sent via email on the day of arrival.
Free guest parking is available adjacent to guest accommodations at The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch. Van Accessible Parking is available.
Complimentary Wireless Internet is available for our guests at The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch.
We charge $20 per additional adult above double-occupancy. We consider children age 13 and over as adults. Due to the forested nature of the property and for safety concerns, children under the age of 13 years old are NOT ALLOWED at The Inn. Special arrangements can be made at time of check-in and are subject to availability.
Sorry, NO pets are allowed at The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch. ADA Defined Service Animals are welcome at our hotel.

We do not have a Front Desk. All instructions for self-check-in are sent to the registered email address on the day of arrival.
This property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Once checked in, no cancellations. All linens are inventoried: missing or damaged linens will be charged. NO PETS ALLOWED. Guest rooms that have evidence of pet dander and/or odor will be charged a $150 non-refundable fee for deep cleaning services. Any damage to hotel property will be charged an additional fee upon assessment. This is a NON-SMOKING facility. Guest acknowledges that smoking is not allowed in guest room or within hotel facility and grounds. If anyone in guest's party smokes in the guest room, guest hereby expressly authorizes hotel management to charge credit card the amount of $250.00 to reimburse the property for the additional cost of cleaning guest room. If your reservation has been paid in advance or you elect to pay by cash, a $150 security deposit via credit card will be required upon check-in and will be charged in the event that damages outlined herein occur.
The Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch is a 100% Non-Smoking property. Campfires, BBQs, Stoves, or any open flames are absolutely not allowed and would run afoul of The Law due to the fire danger in our forest.
